Found this neat little Freeware Program. I fix a lot of older machines and this is a real time saver.
Save it to a disk and load it on those machines with missing or wrong drivers.

Unknown Device Identifier 1.60
A small program that saves time and energy when working on computers, by identifying the hardware inside.

Sounds like an interesting utility, however your link doesn't work and I don't see it listed on zhangduo.com site.

Just got it. Like the program thats suggested with it called MyDrivers. Just backed up all my non MS drivers into a single .exe. :)

The original link provided is an ftp link, or link to the direct download. Anyway it downloaded when i clicked on the link via ftp.

I went to the site via ftp and although I could see folders it wouldn't allow me to access them.

I also did a search at mg and I can't find it. :(

Can't wait to try it myself - If it can read the hardware IDs without me needing to open up my PC, I'm gonna love it like family :w00t:
