my girlfriends computer has currently got 288mb ram. 1*32 + 1*256 and has a shared graphics card, which is currently set at 32mb, her processor is a 533 celeron. and running win me,
she doesnt do much games, mostly puzzle games, internet, kazaa lite, nothin intesive, and was wondering what the best graphics/system ram combo was.
the settings for shared video memory i think is, 2,4,8,16,32,64.
i thik 16mb for video will be fine, giving a little more for system, :)
what do you think? or will even 8mb do?

Considering that she uses Win ME and what she does, I don't see a need for more memory allocation than she has now. Just leave it the way it is.

I quite understood your first post. I was saying that she has enough free ram in the system as it is, seeing that she uses Win ME and doesn't run things that are high memory demand. So 256 available for the system should be fine.

ok, thanks,
when she got the computer it came with 32mb of ram installed. and 4mb graphics.
i went like a snail, i put the 256 card in, and it runs pretty good now.
