.... software hosted on certain tracker ?

I am looking for a piece of software for several month now and I am not sure if it is allowed to ask here for people to check their tracker and just give me the name of it IF it is there ...

If I remember correctly you can ask for help finding it but people aren't allowed to post links directly too it, i think. but you could always ask and get people to pm the answer I'm sure that would be cool.
