Wot Software Do I Use

i need to convert a file to divx so it will play on my ps2 wots the best software to do it thats quick does it take ages to convert it etc

I've never tried it but in Winmpg video converter there is option that says "all to Divx" I think all covers all :P

Just out of curiosity...how are you going to play it on your PS2?

But, for converting a file to DIVX...I would check out GordianKnot...it will have all software necessary to either rip DVD, or convert an avi to divx using virtualdub
