A little?

That's funny. Did you use mouthwash afterwards?

I have seen so much sick stuff in my life, that I realy can't pin point any particular sick thing worth noting here.

Okay, I remember one event, only because it took me by surprise. During my apprenticeship, I was assigned to work at a small remodeling job at a hospital, with a few dozen construction workers. I arrive with fresh clothes, hand tools and a new lunch box. Looking good for a newbie. I see a large room with ceiling tile removed. Electricians, plumbers, and carpenters, tools, dust and dirt.
My foreman, who I knew me from previous jobs, gave me a brief description of what work was needed to be done for the day. Re-route some pipe, cut some new holes in the wall, etc... Lunch box in hand still, my forman shows me into another room. It looked sort of clean. No jobsite dust. "Maybe this is a lunch room", I thought. He shows me a refrigerator. Cool, a place to keep my drink cold. He opens the refrigerator. IT was a FREEZER! "Look", he said "He didn't have time to shave before he died". To my surprise there was a human head laying sideways on the middle shelf! I looked more and the whole thing was full of heads covered in clear plastic! The "lunch room" was a classroom for students to learn some sort of medical stuff. It took me by surprise.

Probably the most gruesome story, from a co-worker of mine on a job site, was when the 8"x10" (atleast 20' long weighing several 100 pounds) steel I-BEAM came flying by and with no resistance took the left half of a steel worker's head off. He had half of a face. Blood every where. My buddy was right next to him when it happened. There was blood everywhere. To top things off. The body was left lying at the jobsite for 10 hours before anyone removed it. All of the investigation, photos, OSHA, technicial stuff, etc...

Then, many years ago, my uncle's first week as a state trooper, had to go to a scene of an automobile accident. A truck hauling huge layers of 1/4" steel plate, lost its load on the highway. One of the sheets slid off onto the car behind it, sheering off the entire top of the car. My uncle saw the headless body in the driver's seat of the car. In the meantime, other police officers were looking for the head. My uncle became very ill from the sights of that scene, so he went to the side of the road, next to some bushes to vomit, only to find the head.

Man, Spin, you win.
I'm afraid to go outside now....

I don't really have anything to contribute to this thread, but really, who does after reading all that? Can anyone top that!?

I am not sure about topping spin, that is some messed up schtuf...

I worked as a LVN in a hospice home in Texas for about 18 months. The last two weeks I worked there, I had to call 6 DNR's. (Do Not Resuscitate) One of them was a triple amputee who had stage 3 Decubitous ulcers on his tail bone, rib cage, his remaining elbow and the stump of his left leg. He was found in his daughter's house a whole man. She had let him get so dirty in his delusional state; he had developed necrotic decubitous ulcers so bad on his heels, knees and one elbow, those three appendages had to be amputated. I had the joy of cleaning him nightly on 3rd shift, aptly named the graveyard shift. I found him dead, his spine protruding through the necrotic hole in his lower back where the infection had tunneled along his spine.

I had to prep him for the morgue. I took 4 hours in a full bio suit. He had Hepititus C as well as Alzheimer's. That morning, when I got out of work, I smoked a pack of cigarettes in about 4 hours, could not sleep, so I smoked some more.

I took 2 weeks for the dreams to stop. This was worse than leprosy. He could feel himself rotting away. Every nerve ending was fully aware of what was happening. I had too much empathy for the job. I literally felt residual pain in all the same places he did, as well as others, every time I had to treat them. :(

I still feel the pain of others when I let my walls down.

oh goodness, thats sounds terrible!
i had a similar situation two years ago, when a very good friend of mine hung himself we all went to the pub to say goodbye to him in style, and one of my best mates was murdered literally a step away from me. well, i say murdered but he was beaten into a coma and died a few hours later, so the tw8 only got 3 years for manslaughter. he was allowed back in to the pub 3 times, and each time tried to get at me and my friends again.

"let the bastard fry", i say.

my heart goes out to you.

I can't compare to the above posts as they are horrific :(
It's a sad world :(

The sickest thing I ever saw was a video which was released (for some reason) for about a month! It was called "Executions", I'm not going into detail but they were real, not acted, not fake but real, That was 5 or 6 years ago and I can still see some of the images now!

Nasty!!!! :(

a mate showed me this "faces of death" video once - really mad - nothing to the experiences here......... :( so sad.

It was like videos of real killings, like a guy shooting himself in the head at a press conference from the 60's.......and a guy shooting his wife during an interview......unbelivably shocking.

there were more, but i wouldnt like to describe them :( :(

i dont know if i should say it but when my mum got hit by a car last year.

my bro told me she broke her leg. so i went and sat infront of her to talk to her look at her right leg and thought theres a lot of blood but it dont look that bad. then i saw her left foot had come off almost. she was actually really lucky in a really gruesome way because the only things connecting to her foot was a bit of skin, an artery and the nerves

The other day my wife (I call her Mrs Mookins) prepared for me a meal.

It was less than half cooked chips with very burnt fishfingers.

That's my contribution.

i just remembered one that isnt as sad.

once me and my brother went to work with my dad. we were chopping a massive tree down and it was almost off the stump but it was to dangerous to do anything because of the strange twistiness. my brother was stood at the opposite to the stump when the tree snapped, it tripped him up onto it then launched him 4 or 5 metres straight up then he came down with a thud. its a miracle that all he had was some nasty looking grazes

Ok beat this!

I dreamed I was kissing JP full on the lips with tongues!

Actually I didn't find it that distressing - think he did though!
