It always has, I really have no idea why I do it.

the effects of drinking hot salty water?
none i can think of except for the grandparents cackling in the background about it clearing colds. :huh:


i use to drink vinegar as a kid, then found other things to pickle my liver with.

My dentist told me to do it (drink warm salty water) after he pulled out 8 of my teeth...I think he didn't really like me though, I only went in for a check-up!

The taste and even worse the smell of liver or kidneys (especially when cooking) - really makes me heave.

Though cat liver pate on toast is quite nice.

What's "salt peter"? Did I spell that correct? I always heard it from somewhere in the past, but can't remember where? My grandparents have mentioned it before. I seem to vaguely recall some old black-n-white movies making some mention of it. Must be an "old" remedy of a sort.

Somebody help me out here. Give me a clue. Give me a bone, why don't you?
