Well...
I applied for a job with this company two months ago.
Got a phone call 3 weeks ago to say I was unsuccesful for that particular position but they would like me to come in for an interview for another position.
I did, and now they've offered me more money than I would have got for the first job

Top man, congratulations and so forth, I'm well chuffed for you.
Are you still ripping off old age pensioners or is it a move in a different direction.

Hehe
I'll be working for a company who provides industrial spill control and cleaning products.
Apparently Biggles' company buys from them.
I may be speaking to him if they don't pay up in time

I suspect you won't be hassling Les' company for delayed payage.
I take it you're basically a debt collector. I believe the official term is something like "accounts payable".

Having said that, hassling accountants is much better than hassling pensioners.
Lead pipe required.
For busting kneecaps, like.

Tho' to be fair, with Les it's basically both.

No, I'm not a debt collector.
I make up quotes, take orders, send out orders and catalogues etc etc.
I may be giving the occasional client a phone call to remind them their bill is due.
Apparently we don't have an agressive recovery technique when it comes to unpaid bills.
