can anyone tell me a good program i can use that will resume a download if i loose my connection or need to stop a download for some reason. Is GetRight Download Manager: Resume Downloads, Schedule Downloads, Faster any good

If you decide to go with flashget make sure you download the v1.73 not the later versions, they do suspicious things like open a bunch of ports and try to act as a server even if you don't install the P2P stuff.

I second the FlashGet recommendation. Best HTTP download manager around.

Go with this one it's all I've used for donkeys. It's an extension for firefox and can be found on the firefox extensions website at mozilla.

As Michellin, I recomend you to use DownThemAll, you can download it from the addons page in firefox, its integrated into it and works as well as any other download manager..
Yet another vote for down them all I've been using it for ages as well never had any problems with it and it will def be able to resume pause your downloads for you.
