i don't answer an answer for you but a question :

how much do you pay for softlayer? i can't find anything on their site for less 159$/month for 2000 gigs bandwith

it's way too expensive, i use to pay half the price for leaseweb

thx for the info!

You can acctually get gigbit with SL as well.
The speeds they advertise are basically the speeds you get.
Ive had a few servers through them over the last year or 2... never had ANY issues with speed or reliability on the servers.

My US server is a gbit from SL. I signed up when they first started pretty much. They are more expensive now and offer a different package and it is true you can get 100mbit cheaper but I aint leaving as I still pay my original price. As far as speeds I get fantastic speeds and I have never had any problems with torrenting with them. The other I would recommend is Leaseweb, I have never had issues with them and they are cheap.

Nope! Not true..
