I'm trying to fix my friends computer that has WinME installed on it...er had it installed on it. Not really sure what happened to his computer, but it was royally f**ked up. So i tried to do a clean install of ME again on his computer, but i think there's something wrong with his recovery disk (looks like he was using it to level out the coffee table or something). Plus, the bootdisk for ME is really confusing, or maybe that's how messed up his computer is. Anyway, I think i'm just gonna install 98SE onto his computer. I had to do a clean install on my parents computer a little while ago and it wasn't that difficult at all. But, i'm gonna need a 98SE install CD. Does anybody have a verified of this and can i get a brief rundown on what i'll all need to do to install it?
