I know absolutely nothing about Firewalls, howeer i want to get one. I want to be able to monitor my incoming/outgoing data, as well as block unwanted intrusions. So if you could tell me of a good software firewall i would really appreciate it. I am currently running Win Xp with the built in fire wall On, but i do not trust it that much.
Thanks alot.

Try Zone Alarm. You can get a free version at the Zonelab (http://www.zonelab.com) website. It's rather simple to use. Be sure to deactivate your XP firewall.

I am currently downloading Symantec Norton Personal Firewall 2003. I hope this suits my needs. if there is a better firewall out there let me know.
Thanks
