New Castle v t'Hoops, on Satan TV ce soir.

We've been quite pishy pre-season so hopefully it's be a real friendly in the best traditions of non-competative football

We struggled against carlisle and hartlepool, so I'm only expecting to win by two or three tonight:schnauz:

I like how they're letting you take 2 bairns in for free if you've bought an adult ticket, like.

I dunno really, it was a spur of the moment post. Maybe she's really short or something.

Proper Bo

She's about chin height, so probably taller than mouldy.

You're an accountant anyways, so that hardly counts as a real job.

I could apply for wurk as a systems developer or a translator, there's lots of wurk in the former field atm, I'm just procrastinating, mostly 'cos it's summer and the weather is nice, and I hate writing the applications :dabs:

Besides, this kind of teaching is liek the best job I've ever had. I'm the only bloke on the staff, and it's easy as anything, especially since I'm used to wee bastards on account of having four younger siblings. I can trick them into buildings sand castles or something for whole days.

The interweb stream doesn't wurk:no:

I read somewhere setanta was meant to be free on virgin media now but it isn't there on mine:no:

Fromagepas
07-26-2007, 07:15 PM
No you need to pay for it with Virgin.

I pay £15, but that's all of it and Celtic TV chipped in.

Fromagepas
07-26-2007, 07:16 PM
I think it's £10 for just the Setanta.

Proper Bo
07-26-2007, 07:20 PM
They bundle setanta 1 and 2, rangers tv, celtic tv, setanta golf and racing UK for free if you have the XL Tv pack.

Just read it on the premplus channel, like.

2-0 to you guys about 5 mins to go first half.

3 now

Fromagepas
07-26-2007, 07:31 PM
We're Ok in the middle of the park, but some shocking defending for the goals.

To be fair the right back is from our under 19 team.

Proper Bo
07-26-2007, 07:32 PM
is it both reserve teams playing?

Fromagepas
07-26-2007, 07:33 PM
No, quite the reverse.

Proper Bo
07-26-2007, 07:34 PM
rly? :o

I imagine they'll give the kids a run out in the second half tho', I still haven't seen lua lua jr play yet, like.

Fromagepas
07-26-2007, 07:34 PM
It's not our best 11, but it is players who will be competing for first team places.

Fromagepas
07-26-2007, 07:35 PM
Martin, Milner etc are playing.

Luque has scored two.

Proper Bo
07-26-2007, 07:35 PM
what about newcastle?

edit: you posted too quickly.

Proper Bo
07-26-2007, 07:36 PM
Is there an orsum atmosphere?

Fromagepas
07-26-2007, 07:38 PM
We've actually been playing not too bad across the midfield, however that is our strong area.

V of H looks a b it slow and Zurawski is probly about 3rd or 4th choice to play alongside him.

Defensively we looked weak. However probably good enough to cope with the SPL quite easily. Nowhere near CL tho'. We need a proper right back.

Fromagepas
07-26-2007, 07:39 PM

Really good for pre-season, with the signing of songs etc. You're lads are having a really good time, obviousement.

Fromagepas
07-26-2007, 07:39 PM
So are ours to be fair. 5,000 travelled down.

Proper Bo
07-26-2007, 07:44 PM
Indeed, good times will be being had by all, that's part of the beauty of newcastle with the stadium being right in the city and easily within walking distance of pubs.

Proper Bo

Newcastle have run out of players and Butt has had to come off. So the second keeper has come on to play outfield.

Stevie Arthur, if that's right.
