I am considering getting a VPS from Hosting-IE - I've read past topics but want some reassurance.

BTW I'm familiar with their absurd setup times, but I am willing to deal with that assuming everything else works out.

1. Where are their datacenters located? Nobody gives the same answer.

2. What kind of speeds do you get on average with the VPS? Mostly concerned about upload.

3. They advertise unlimited bandwidth. I am not intending on using a ridiculous amount, but has anyone here used a terabyte or more bandwidth a month without issue?

4. Has anyone had their service canceled for using torrents?

5. Have they ever been raided?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

1. I think they're in Ireland, atleast thats where the domain hosting-ie.com is listed

2. I've read of people getting atleast a few MB/s upstream, sometimes more. I have no personal experience so can't say for sure.

3. I'm sure 1TB/month wouldn't be a problem. Thats only 33GB a day, just under 400K/s average (if used 24/7)

4. Dunno
5. Dunno

i got more then 1,5TB/month with my old hosting-ie Box.
But note that the support is f***ing bad...
I got a big problem with mine after some weeks that everything i've loaded, was corrupt, so the hardware of the boxes suxx aswell.
