I know there is a way to quickly burn AVI. video files w/Nero , put them onto a dvd and have them play in a regular dvd player. I accidently did it before and forgot what I did. But when I try to do it now my dvd players say UNKNOWN DISC.
How do I do this?

Flaming will get you nowhere, here. It certainly won't get you any help with your dilemma.

Saying "regular DVD player" is akin to saying "it's a normal computer". It tells us nothing and in turn we cannot help.

Reminds me of this (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/f-lounge-10/t-i-vote-sticky-108469/) thread.

My thoughts too as there was mention of a Dvix player by WHRST. Have you tried Vso 's ConverToXdvd ? Its what I use even has a burning program and very fast .

If you get a Phillips DVP-642 (http://www.amazon.com/Philips-DVP642-DivX-Certified-Progressive-Scan-Player/dp/B000204SWE) you can play your avis.
It plays 99% of the videos you trow at it. It was my first DivX Certified device.

Now I have a Samsung HT-P38 (http://www.sonicsales.biz/system/SAM-HTP38.htm) which is also Divx certified, as is my Zen Vision W (http://www.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=213&subcategory=214&product=15752&nav=0).
Im sorry, just showing off.
