Now that utorrent is endorsed by the MPAA I need a new client.

Does anyone know of any other clients that are good?

good advce fstrulz that's what I did. But I was thinking this as well it's about time for someone to develop a new client. that isn't a resource hog...is open source (unlike utorrnt) and hasn't been sold out.

@Gam3Guy:
IMO as was already mentioned your only other choice is azureus which isn't much of a choice at all really

i dont think anything is wrong with utorrent 1.6.1 but someone really should develop a new client thats better than utorrent, something like made by the torrent community for the torrent community. :D
unfortunately that someone isnt me :( cause i dont know a thing about programming :(

If you don't want resource hog you might as well stick to the earlier version of utorrent, utorrent 1.6.1. Or else you could choose from a wide variety of useless clients.

I used to use Azureus a looong time ago, maybe 2 years ago and I don't think I will go back.

So it looks like I will go back to 1.6.1. Thanks everyone.

I will be staying with 1.6 never updated but halite seems promising.

I think 1.6 has the problem with disk caching, which really beats up your hard drive... and Ludde fixed that problem in 1.6.1.

perhaps I could update but had no problems with any of my hd's, tbh though I only need a valid reason to abandon utorrent.

SharkTorrents is one promising new client. It's still beta but seems to be developed actively.
