Is there any software on the internet or for sale that I can download to be able to play a music cd that is encoded in cdfs format ? Apparently this CD comes from overseas and their zone is different than ours. Please help.

try this -

Alternate CDFS.VXD v1.0 (http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_software/audio_tools/alternate_cdfs_vxd.cfm)

A replacement for the Windows CD driver. After installing this you can copy CD tracks directly as WAV files.
