Cs 1.5 is the newest you don't have to download it on kazaa you can download at: http://www.counter-strike.net/mod_full.html and download the latest patch of halflife and cs key generator

depands if you download Counter strike RETAIL VERSION you don't have to have half-life but if you download the MOD version of counter strike you do need to have half life

if there is retail in the sentence that's the you should have but you can't download it of the internet you should look at kazaa you can only download the MOD version for free of the internet

use emule for half life
cos kazaa one has language problems and wont update
so go on emule and download that

The keygens wont work.

if by chance, you happen to generate a key that someone uses already, maybe, but then u will be fighting with them over its use. Valve uses a key verifier that authenticates every retail cs, and hl cd key, and assigns a unique wonid key to it, so only certain keys, have valid wonids that will match up to it.

ive been playing cs/hl for 5 years now... trying to use a keygen is virtually impossible... the game is cheap, cs, or hl, like 15$, just buy it if you want to play cs online.

Not anymore it seems, saw it on Fileplanet a few weeks ago. "Play counter-strike for free!"

Play CS for free = CS 1.6 in Beta stages so you download the steam client and you get to play it.

The Normal/Old school/Classic CS 1.5, no keygen works if you want to play online. I suggest you go buy it, it's friggin cheap right now.

No you dont.

steam was and still is totally independant of counter strike. Not untill steam goes public with the 1.6 full version, will you need counter strike to play. After that happens, the free trail of the beta version will be up.

and yes, right now you can still download steam, and play the beta 1.6 cs for free... note, for now...

and TO THE PERSON WHO POSTED RIGHT AFTER ME, read what I just said. Counter Strike is NOT FREE NOW&#33; Only the beta version is... and once it goes gold/not beta any more, you WONT BE ABLE TO PLAY IT on steam any more.

just rent cs from the vid library and burn it. no key gens on the entirew internet will work online. its best just to find someone willing to trade keys from other games.
