It popular as hell where Im at. A lot of peeps at my school play it, claiming that you can make money off it.

They also had some shit on CNN about it. Its supposed to be really cool. But yea not for me.

Second Life (abbreviated as SL) is an Internet-based virtual world launched in 2003, developed by Linden Research, Inc (commonly referred to as Linden Lab), which came to international attention via mainstream news media in late 2006 and early 2007 [4][5]. A downloadable client program called the Second Life Viewer enables its users, called "Residents", to interact with each other through motional avatars, providing an advanced level of a social network service combined with general aspects of a metaverse. Residents can explore, meet other Residents, socialize, participate in individual and group activities, create and trade items (virtual property) and services from one another.

Some people made million with second life. In the beginning they bought lots of places in the second life world, now they have sold it for a price many times higher then they bought it.

Nice way to get rich :)

Sounds a bit like that Habbo Hotel place that SGG was doing strange things to with a Samuel Lee Jackson look alike a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps her mob of hooligans should visit this place too.

I mean to say buying virtual real estate? Who would be so stupid?

Even I wouldn't fall for that. Sheesh!
