oh yeah i forgot, famous athletes too.

i met johnny knoxville from "jackass" at a dance club one time, but i hadn't seen his show at the time. so i probably would've been more impressed if i had a better idea about who he was. :P

and i met mark mcgwire (american baseball player who holds the record for most home-runs in one year), but that was when i was a young kid and he was only a local celebrity at that time.

he was filming for his show of the time, in the victorian street, had the full kit on,
with the really stiff old victorian type collar, he bent down to show us how tight it was, i pulled it back and let it go,and boy did it snap him on the neck, he still give us his autograph, (a rolfaroo) signed doodle of his head on a kangaroo.
Rolf was God when i was a kid. cmon now beat that! :P

I met Beckham just after the treble and his first baby - he signed a Man U video for me.

Also met Ronnie O'Sullivan, the world's greatest snooker player.

Seen loads of minor celebs around the airport - most of eastenders cast, Philippa Forrester, Emma Forbes, Harry Redknapp and many others.

Also know Jamie Oliver and Matt Holland (Ireland international and just left Ipswich for another club, forgotten who), and the other day I was at a party with MC Codebreaker, the MC from the drum n bass radio station on GTA3!

Does it have to be someone you have met?

I have been close to Eminem and Proof when they came passed the fences on the 'up in smoke tour'. That was years ago though and I weren't allowed to go in the concert as I was to young.

I have met blue when they came to 'party in the park', don't like them. Me and my sis were allowed backstage to met them after some competition with the radio or something.

Seen blazin squad in planet hollywood the other day. :D

Anneka Rice - thats da tart that did that treasure hunt thing - and she went to towns to develop them and sh*t - well she came to our house with the TV cameras and stuff and took a dump in our toilet - fascinating.

Also i met Liam Neeson in a pub in Dublin a couple of years back.

Last time I posted anyone famous, that I met, nobody knew who I was talking about.

One time I was having dinner with my wife at a restaurant, and the kid who stars in "Boy Meets World" sat at a table across from us. I didn't interrupt his meal, being that he probably came there to eat peacefully, like me and my wife were. Although she kept pestering me to get a picture or autograph from him. I insisted that we should just leave him (and his 'body gaurd'?) alone.

I thought I saw Triple H walking on the sunset strip in Hollywood about a year ago. Also while I was in Vegas watching some dumb Howard Stern Wedding at the Hard Rock Cafe, I waited outside afterwards and got withing about 10 feet of Howard when he walked by. It was a weird show because they lost power for some unknown reason and had to go off the air during the middle of the show for a little while.

Nope!

Amando Snurdington - Bygreaves played a plant like monster in the terryfing Sci Fi movie adaptation of Johm Wyndham's book "The Day of The Triffids". He starred opposite Keiron Moore. Armando appeared in several different scenes and as several different Triffid characters including the Lead Triffid! There was talk about some kind of nomination for a nomination for something or other.... due to his outstanding performance - he was that f*cking good!

Stan Lee. No wait, that was a scene from Mallrats.

Would probably have to be Tony Benn, the former MP. I used to get free 1st class travel on the trains when I was at University, and I shared a table with him down to London. He was there in his suit and tie, and I was wearing ripped jeans, knackered army boots and a tatty old T shirt.
He thought it was funny as hell. Top man! :D

More interestingly, when my girlfriend studied art at Liverpool, she was sitting near some Cathedral painting it and who should walk up to her but Paul McCartney.
He had a converation with her about what she was doing and took her name.
A few weeks later she got a call from one of his pr people and they were asking what kind of money she wanted for four paintings. She charged two grand and the cheque was there within the week.

@Bill I think I remember that episode of Challenge Aneka.

Oh yes i vague recollection of the headlines in the liverpool echo,
[SIZE=7]mc is back
[SIZE=1]liverpools favourite son, sir paul mccartney was back home this week to pay tribute to his hometown with the premier of his first full length classical masterpiece at the grand old anglican cathedral. sir paul said "i thought it was only fitting that the setting for this premier should be liverpool. It feels good to give something back to the city, and this is my gift to the people of liverpool. i'm only sorry that none of them will be allowed to attend as all the seats will be filled with A list celebs and civil dignitaries"
god i hate the way the echo kisses his arse.
