I've always found that community names that don't use the words 'scene', 'torrent', 'bit' or 'byte' tend to be more successful than those that try to imply using the domain name.

OiNK, FTN, FSC, FTWR, PotUK and KaraGara are examples of communities that don't rely on direct relationship with Scene or Torrent.

Try to get away from cliche' names, and create something that will stand out on it's own. After all, OiNK is unique and cannot be confused with something else, as is FTN, or Demonoid.
