View Full Version : Port forwarding
I am a relatively new bit torrent user and not quite familiar with the nitty-gritty’s of advanced settings on my DSL modem or on my client. I have heard that using port forwarding can optimize my allocated bandwidth and help me stay connected to the trackers…
Absolutely no idea what that means…
Please let me know if that is indeed useful….

Yes, port forwarding optimizes your bandwidth...
But it's only necessary if you're connecting through a wireless router. :)
