I am a relatively new bit torrent user and not quite familiar with the nitty-gritty’s of advanced settings on my DSL modem or on my client. I have heard that using port forwarding can optimize my allocated bandwidth and help me stay connected to the trackers…
Absolutely no idea what that means…:unsure:
Please let me know if that is indeed useful….

Yes, port forwarding optimizes your bandwidth...

But it's only necessary if you're connecting through a wireless router. :)
