wtf? i just noticed it was one of the reason i had so little space on one of my partition. The history database file itself was 18gb... can i delete this file periodically or is there a way i can permanently get rid of this file while peerguardian works efficiently?

i think i might have fixed it.. i went to settings -> unchecked log allowed connections.

Yes, I happened to come across that last year and it was at 24GB when I saw it. Doh! I haven't used Peerguardian since. Not because of that though...although the logging is on by default I believe.

I've been using ipfilter.dat with uTorrent and never had any problem...

Here's how to install it... http://zerotracker.com/torrents-deta...979&filelist=1 (http://zerotracker.com/torrents-details.php?id=95979&filelist=1)

don't you guys check the options? You can have it delete the history file every 1 day and tell it only to log blocked connections

Here is new ipfilter.dat that has been compiled for xMule and tested on 8/7/7. It contains IP ranges from known riaa, mpaa, leechers, gov, ect. Which was posted in various p2p forums related to ed2k. Now this list is bigger than ed2k's pipefilter and contains 79% of all IPv4's allocated ip's blacklisted.

File: ipfilter.dat
Size: 15.1 MB
Lines Count: 228234
IP Count: 3398280734

To download ipfilter.dat (3.67 MB) go here: http://rapidshare.com/files/47556500/ipfilter.zip (http://rapidshare.com/files/47556500/ipfilter.zip)

Is that the WGet thing?

I'd checkout nsane (sig) for info on this - I trust'em and that's where I get alotta of my resources.
