hey guys
im a fan of old releases,
scene and non-scene releases,
games, movies, music, absolutely everything
and i mean, i can search for a movie
that was released 8 years ago....

my question here, not really a question, is
what sites do you use to download old releases?
not the public ones, the private torrent sites
please reply here the names of the site,
so i can find them myself?
thank you very much

For 'vintage' content (Music&Movies) you should try karagarga, for example.

For older releases, T-Damage usually has nice torrents :)

Just my 2 cents.

Hm, some slightly "older" games scene-releases (2000+ (with that I mean y2k); at least PC ones, I don't care or watch for others) are usually available at trackers like Torrent-Damage or Bitsoup. That's where I sometimes grab things for my slower laptop to pass some time during my travels.

In the case of movies: not all releases of older movies need to be old themselves as well. There are quite some highdef uploads at trackers like HDBits, BiT-HDTV, etc of older movies. The same is true for DVDR focused trackers. Swebits offers a selection of ~500 torrents, TTi only amounts to 200 results with the search pattern of DVDR movies released between 1990 and 1999. If I don't find stuff on those mentioned trackers, then I try my luck with the request system of Swebits which has worked for me all but one time. If you're no fan of HD/DVDR releases because they're too big, I'd try some bigger trackers like Demonoid or Zamunda.

wierd is not for me
imdb stuff is for me :D (about movies)
are there sites like arenabg and zamunda
with several thousand rare torrents?
or with a huge amount of users?

It's been talked about a little bit already, but there isn't a dedicated movie tracker that caters for all types of movies like Oink or bitmetv. That's the one big gap the torrent scene still has, which is surprising.

KG is for art house type films mainly.

For old releases the best place are the public trackers (thepiratebay, demonoid, isohunt, torrentspy etc.) I can always find there everything that I want, of course the speeds are crappy... :whistling

Demonoid is the best for old torrents i think... LM has only some because this tracker prefer only new releases.. of course karagarga is not bad..

i would have to say zamunda, but then you know that site already

most people like me get their older movies from packs released by 0-day trackers

somehow they always release a movie when i want to watch it, weird

of course you know this, but you can just select the movie you want to download from that pack

UG is more for the classics

i prefer Blackcats

Is zamunda ever open for signups?
It should be. With a userlimit that high it's likely to have free slots some of the time.
