Game Rippers

I just got curious. Who are these people that rip games? These organisations called Myth, and Class, and Sharereactor. Are they a group of programmers? Why do they rip games? Are they bored with nothing to do? Why do they rip the games they rip? How are these groups formed?

Just a few stupid questions, but I wouldn't mind knowing the answers.

PS. I think they are doing a great job. (whoever they are)

ShareReactor is not a release group. They are a website, forum, etc. They catalog
files for ed2k. http://www.sharereactor.
Also "FLT" or Fairlight has disbanded, as most of you already know.

I'm not a fed, just a bit curious. Wasn't really asking for names either, just interested in rips in general.
For a start I'm in Uk, and i'm no James Bond. Also I'm 56k, the FBI surely have faster connection than that!
Now you mention it, how did people know when FLT disbanded? did they have a site, or posted on forums, or through some general rumour?

When is Vice City gonna get ripped?! Oh, forget, it's already ripped. But, PEOPLE DON'T SHARE! :(
