RTS Opening Doors

Due to unforseen circumstances, I (wcomm) and coincidentally mota have been really busy lately. I know we haven't been around lately and we apologize for that.

To a more pressing matter, we are running out of funds to keep RTS alive (server costs). We are thinking of opening our doors, and letting more members in to try and improve donations. Also, we are going to try and get new staff members to try and improve the site a little bit. However, if this continues, we might be forced to shut the site down.

We (wcomm and mota) simply don't have much time to run the site, let alone worry about server costs. Anyways, thanks again for all the people who helped by donating, and also other members who helped by contributing the site in other ways, whether it'd be seeding, leeching or posting in the forums...

Anyways, we are open to ideas so post if you have one

You can get max 5 invites at once but just send some invites to ppl that doesn`t exist and get 5 invites again...then delete all invites you sent away and you`ll get them back.
TADAA you have 10 invites...now send them away and get 5 more.. etc etc blalbalba..

Looks like if a new tracker doesnt open sign-ups it will be very hard for them to suceed. Out of curiosity was FTN, ScT, FTWR, UK-T ever open for sign-ups i mean when they first started out was it invite only even in the first few months of opening

Thats the reason those sites closed thier doors...... cause ppl DON'T know how to respect them! i wish very much to become a member of a couple of those sites.... but, if i'm gonna get there i'm gonna do without working the trading ladder... since invites should be free anyways.... and not treated as trading stock!!!!!!!!!! you guys should be asshamed for doing this!!!! :dry:

I've had an account there so I signed up to see if anything changed. My predictions were correct: nothing good happens when staff cares more about user classes than about making tracker special.

I just don't see a place for "yet another 0day tracker" right now. The only tracker that succeeded is SCC. It's not "old school" cause uploaders are funded by staff but I don't think users care much about it. They're quite happy with impressive pre-times and speed SCC offers.

Actually, there's a hole yet to be filled - tracker with non-scene DVD9 releases, something like Exigo for movies.

Don't think people have illusions about that. They won't get any donations from new users and the site will die when they run out of money to pay hosting bills.

the content is really poor and there is just too many 0-day trackers around so no need for new ones that don't offer anything special
