I am IN there! :w00t: I am famous! Lucky me! :D

(*) At least I use a different alias and passwd on all of my trackers, so my alias there is useless to the hacker, since I haven't used that one anywhere else! :P

This is NOT a complete list. I have the complete list, which I am on. I am NOT on this list. If your name is not on this one, it doesnt mean you are safe. If you want me to check for you, i will check the real list.

MX had nothing to do with it. He tried to take advantage of the list he found by trying to give away accounts he could log into.

I will explain the whole thing again.

Basically, an old staff member at bit-hdtv got pissed off at how insecure the site was. His solution was to create a php script or something along those lines, that logged the username and password everytime anyone logged into bit-hdtv. The script logged all of the login information for about a 4 month period for bit-hdtv into a plain text file. Now, either the staff member leaked the file to the interwebs, or someone found it and leaked it. The staff member is known, and all of the details are over at bit-hdtv forums.

I don't understand why the full list is being post on forums. This is lame for this thing to happen.

No point for the password to be removed. The damage has been done.

Well, i know that the list has been edited to remove many of the dupes and passwords that were logged. It is quite possible that during that process a few names were also pruned.

My name was on the list and it took me about an hour to change all of my accounts with that user name so that they all have a seperate password.I was thinking that as long as my email had different pass everything would be safe, shows how little i know. These people piss me off with there lack of security and just plain stupidity.
