What's morbid mean? Is it when you bid more?

Why is this morbid as opposed to say, someone that buys a guitar (or reinforced jumpsuit) once owned by Elvis?

I could see your point if it was the clothes she was wearing when she died, but it's not.

Because its clothing I guess. It's a much more personal item than some memorabilia.

A jumpsuit isn't clothing

I'm pretty sure Diana would have only worn this particular dress once and felt no particular personal attachment to it. Besides the money raised will go to charity and I rather suspect she would approve.

"jumpsuit"? It's an evening gown.

it's a charity auction, kinda weird tho but i don't think the winner is going to wear it :ermm:

Read what I posted again ;)

Is it just Diana's personal stuff or is it anyone else's as well that qualifies as morbid.

This isn't a combative question. Obviously I don't see anything morbid with it at all, so I am wondering why you or anyone else would.

For my part I look at it as a piece of history. No more or less sinister than selling a house you inherit.
