Hi Guys

I have a Logitech Laser cordless mouse which I like.

However occasionally it goes slow. Usually after a re-boot (XP).

It is not the batteries, because I usually have to connect up my old wired mouse for a few days. Then when I try to plug in my Logitech cordless mouse and re-boot if quite often works perfectly again.

I have checked Logitechs help files but nothing covers this situation.

Kind Regards

Huh?
So have you replaced the batteries or not?

Edit: You could also uninstall the Logitech drivers and then reinstall with new ones...

Is it a rechargeable mouse?

A fault I've found (on 3 out of 3 units so far) is that it thinks the batteries are fully charged after only a short time. If you don't remedy the situation then it starts to get sticky and slow.

The way to remedy the situation is to remove the batteries after you've done the initial charge, leave for a few minutes, then replace it and charge again. Do this twice and the batteries seem to last for ages between charging, and the sticky/slow problems are cured.
