View Full Version : Splinter Cell Wont Install In English

When I try and install Splinter Cell in english it wont do it, but i can install it in french. What good is that.

I downloaded FLT - SC1
FLT - SC2
FLT - SC3

Please dont tell me i downloaded the french version.

The error reads:

CRC Error: the file c:\program files\ubisoft\splinter cell\sounds\ENGLISH\1_2_2.LSO doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium in which you are running may be currupted. contact your software........

Is there any chance of downloading sound files again instead of the whole cd.

the same thing happened to me, and i got a verified from this board. is there any patch or sumthin thatll make it work in english so i dont have to re download all the .bin's?

I just did a couple of quick searches on google and didn't find anything along the lines of an english language patch or anything, looks like you're stuck dude, the only way to fix it would be to download the english one :(

When i installed i had many CRC errors. Extract the contents of the bin to your hardrive. Install from there, It let me ignore and then replace the files that it tells your corrupted.
