As the title says, Anyone know a good music edittor?
I suppose its more of a "production" type program im after.
I want the program to open tracks and be able to split/delete parts of audio/vocals without having to delete both parts at the same time etc.
I think thats not too hard to understand what i mean although i cant think of a better way to explain what i mean.

I use Sony Sound Forge v8.0, great and professional editer, give it a try ;)
Edit: I think they release the ninth version already!

Actually, I think the OP is after some production software to separate each recorded track from audio files.
This will depend on the filetype being worked on; Cubase or Acid or other similar programs will on their own proprietary project files, but nothing's gonna work on MP3s etc.

Audacity is good, but then I haven't used Sound Forge so I can't compare.
