well if u BUY a dvd-player and it says DVD/CD/CDRW/CDR/VCD/SVCD/MP3/WMV
the it HAS 2 and it MUST play what it says on UR dvd player
sry guy its just comN sense

and u cant play something on ur DVD player if it doesnt SAY on it

its so easy if it doesnt say u can view that format the u can view the movie sry if i sound s bit grouchy but its true

mine doesnt say it can play vcd and svcd but i can play them but it says it can in the booklet so i think u need to check in there and c the formats it plays

but sometime teh lable lie. i jsut bought a brand new dvd player that state it can play vcd, svcd, cd-r/w, dvd, dvd-r/w and it didnt play one single vcd/svcd i burn. btw, for it to play the one u burn it need to be able to play either wma or mpeg.

some only play excact stanard or commercial vcds so if when u encode to mpeg and it dont comply exactly to the vcd standard it wont play them.
