Resident Evil 3: Extinction + Trailers

Well, I've always been a huge fan of horror movies, especially zombie ones... so I'm hoping that the 3rd and possibly final Resident Evil movie won't be a disappointment. I hope the new director, Russell Mulcahy, is able to intertwine the action and horror to a happy-medium. It sucks when a movie is supposed to be one genre, and that's why the fans like it, and then it turns out to be something completely different! :dry:

I've also enjoyed all of the video games so I'm hoping that they saved the best for last!

yeah, re is what sold me on my 1st ps and it was great. the first re film was good, but the 2nd was total fuck. they fucked with the story i know and didn't like it. so, the 3rd installment has too much work to do in order to be satisfactory, but it does seem a little more action oriented over the 2nd film. lol, who am i kiddin'? those r my opinions, but i like this genre too much. i'll watch it either way. ;)

I thought the concept was really cool... although I firmly believe there should have been more scary zombie scenes. :fist:

The end boss (lol I'm still thinking video games)... end villain fight should have been a little longer. He was just nuts though.

Apparently zombies can live for centuries .. ?? .. as stated. They mentioned they had been underground for several years now. I would think that after a few months they would eventually die off from decay.

The crows were sadistic, but Alice's power against them during the scene was pretty sweet. She's unstoppable!


And all the cool people, especially Carlos, die. :pinch: WTF?! He already got bit once in the second movie and they were able to cure him, can't a guy get a break!

just finished this. pretty shitty film imo. worse than teh 2nd one and i hated the 2nd one too. they need to go ahead and stop making these movies while they have some sort of profit. nothing good to see here. no good efx. no good fight scenes, no naked women, nothing... it has nothing to offer. wasted time.

I saw it yesterday and it wasn't as good as the first two. Not enough action or zombies. Mila was good as always.
They left some loop holes, like what happened to Valentine and the little girl from RE2?:unsure:
And for the zombies not dieing off, they could always put them to use like in Shawn of the Dead :lol:

first was good - second was average - this one ? much like the second, but slightly better with a new super-infected badboy to fight ! MILA looks the part though and they could do a spin-off i suppose ! especially with all these remakes there doing at present !
