Hey guys just wondering if any of you are Toyota owners yaris to be exact and if so have you ever had any problems? So far it seems to be a very smooth ride and pretty good when it comes to gas.Me and my girl bought it because of all the good things we heard like toyata's lasting a long time before shitting the bed.Any comments would be good.

It's our first Brand new car up until now we only had used and it's great. They had to pick it up from Rhode island which put about 300 miles on it but at the dealership they didn't have the one we wanted only standards they had.

I don't know about the yaris, but it's true about Toyota's lasting a long time. I had a second hand one that lasted me years without any problems at all. In the end I sold it because I wanted a newer one but It must have gone five years without hitch. My wife also bought a new Camry about a year ago and no problems with that either (fingers crossed).

Good buy m8 pretty stylish looking vehicle ;) what extras did you get?

That's good to hear.It has power everything, air conditioning but i guess really no extras 15,000 was a lot of money for us so extras were really out of the question.I do have a nice box to put in the trunk though so the system should sound pretty good once i get that done.

Actually the only extra i can think of is the remote keyless entry which is kind of cool.Saves time anyway.

Yah I like the keyless entry too I don't have it on my Honda but the wife's camry does :envy:

How good does it feel to buy a new car! you just want to drive it all the time don't even need a reason...have fun :)

Well i just found out another really good thing about the car,the cd player plays Mp3 cd's which means if i want i can pack like 130 or more 4 meg songs on one cd and have them separated in different folders on the disc.Really cool feature that i didn't know of until now.

I'm about to put a new cd player in my car that can read mp3's...I have to get onto that it's just sitting in my cupboard for like a month now  I really want to get all those discs out of my car.

Yeah it's going to do two things for me that will make me happy from now on i will only have to carry around one of those cd books for holding my cds and i will be saving a lot of money not having to buy so many of the discs.Very happy about that i had 3 huge cd books and i really didn't like having to search through them all for a certain cd.

I just recorded 8 full cd's on one 700mb/80 minute disc,i'm absolutely loving the possibilities of this.I can make an artist discography on just a couple discs i guess. My oink ratio is going to suffer over the next few days.Thankfully they don't have strict rules when it comes to ratio.

I've got that too, what a load of garbage. :/
I just use it as a way to charge my ipod now without having to take it into the house.

Yup quality of the sound is very subpar.

Reception is flaky when you live in a big city like I do.

And I hear pure static once I'm over a bridge or anything elevated.

Hey deuce6000, nice car and congratulations. I remember when I got my first "nice" car . . . a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am. I still have it and the car drives alot better than the old '87 Ford Escort I used to drive and has alot more nice features too.

i just bought a used honda myself, runs flawlessly at 120k miles. And they say Japanese cars like toyota and honda will go at LEAST 200k no problems
