spyware software

my pc is pentium 4, 512DDR, i have been usin the latest sypware doctor, but av recently removed it from my pc as it takes too much CPU memory and slows down my pc. i used to use spybot but it does not seem to be any gud nowadays and have also removed that. could any plz tell me which spyware removal software is the best to remove all types of spyware. ?

I use AVG AntiSpyware Free Edition, it seems to work pretty well.

You are right, and i am using it my self, but esco123 already mentioned that he uninstall it coz it takes too much of his CPU memory, so AVG Anti-Spyware will be much suitable for him i guess.

You could also try windows defender. I'm not sure if this is still the case but it used to be considered one of the best free anti-spyware softwares out there. I can't recall how much memory it took up and I don't have it installed right now.

Why not install Kaspersky Internet Security? It protects you from both spyware and viruses. It does an excellent job of both, too.
