Okay, a while ago I used emule and ul'ed alot in a night and my isp called and was like wtf is all the ul for? I said neighbors stealing my bandwith from my router so I don't know. Since I started using torrent I havn't gotten any calls but I'm still scared. So what is the "safest" way. You know what I mean. Plz help, I could seed soo much, but I'm simply scared to do so.

to answer "will dl/ul from private trackers get you in less "trouble" then public trackers?" , yes you will based on me & my friend's experience, ISP block their connection because they upload & I don't have any problem

If they call for a second time just tell them you're hosting a bunch of game tournaments or something. But, then again, they'll probably see you are doing P2P.

^^ neighbor stealing bandwidth is a safer thing to say. Hosting game servers is against most ISP's ToS, even though they rarely enforce that.

They only called a while ago in my p2p days. Nothing since I started torrenting, but the thought of the FBI breaking down my door gives me chills

Hmmm...I don't really know how it's at the U.S , but , you can always say that you have a buisness on the internet , and you're uploading your works on an FTP sever..

If your'e saying the FBI are coming to you :P , buy an hard drive that you can store somewhere , and keep all your files there , but that's not fun :[

3rd way is to change IPS I guess ? or 3rd mean going to jail :S

No, the fbi never came and never will, its just an extreme thought that comes to mind every so often, like when I left the S*mpsons m0v1e to seed for 700gb

And torrenting isn't peer to peer.. why?

i think public tracker are more dangerous than private.i think torrentspy bans all american users now. right? just seed but dont do anything crazy like 700gb. damn boy slow down. btw nice speedtest.

Then the switch you to a business rate, and OUCH!

I think he means Kazaa/Limewire/ Napter

But to the orginal question.. I don't thing less trouble, i mean stealing is stealing. but maybe less likely hood of being caught by agency's. but then again it depends on the site, some site owners are more likely to cave quickly then others if they think they might get in less trouble. Not everyone can wave the FU Flag like TPB.
