I usually dont like rar'ed movies cos they take too much time to unrar and etc, but i finally found a way that can make my life easier and wanted to share it with you in case you are not aware of.

Here's how;

1- Go to this site (http://ds6.ovh.org/drp.html) and download Dziobas Rar Player.
2- Install it.
3- Now you can select any rar file from FILE menu or drag&drop them to watch your rar'ed movie. You can also add subtitles.

PS // This works on a rar files made with store mode which is mostly used by release groups...

I've tried this since last posting and find it still very buggy.
Whether thats down to coding or the way it extracts the movie I do not know.

DanielleD87, which plugin is that?

yes nowadays all HDDs have much more than 20G but I always sooner or later approach the point where every GB can be useful :)

this utility can be helpful,
you also need to have as much free space on C drive as big your movie is (to create temporary file)
and unraring also takes a time (although with fast PC us not so critical)

To unrar a movie it only take from one to two minutes, is that a long time?

it depends on your cpu, and doubles the hdd space you gotta delete it and if you wanna continue seed it thats another problem etc etc :)

If it's 720p or HD media and torrent is running at the
same time, it'll cause clumsiness. I prefer unraring
them first although it takes some time. That will only
be about 30 sec though.

Very useful!

Its not the process of unraring that wastes time. Its the fact that I always leave the rars after extracting and watching. It really accumulates over time and can become a real PITA to delete all the rars from every torrent.

I've stumbled upon a few RARed releases Dzioba's player couldn't open (mplayer crashed, etc.), even if they were in store mode, but for the most part it's a pretty effective solution.

It'd be nice if MPC-HC supported archives so that I don't have to install two media players, although it's not a huge problem either.

Both of those are container formats, so in principle you can just remux the streams inside.
