i watched it
not a lot of gp fans on here though :(

the only reason verstappen was on provisional pole was that he was on a dry track and basically the rest were on a wet track. when it's a dry track, the 80 or so hp difference between the minardi's and the top boys shows through.

all credit to verstappen though :)

You're mistaken, he did not claim the pole position... he just won the right to start last at the second qualification day by having the best time of the first qualilication day.

They call it the pole of the qualification because he had the best time

bit of a broad statement there

the michelins are better in most conditions, however, the margin of superiority for the michelin drys over the bridgestone's is much less then the bridgestone wet/inter superiority over michelin

p.s. i'm a schumi fan too :)

the seats (and monocoques (to some extent)) are moulded to each individual driver, yeah

i would think that blood circulation would be a problem though, unless they have a suit like pilots...which i don't think they do

Don't forget that Raikonen still races the 'old' Mclaren. Although it has a new aerodynamic package, it still is the 2002 car. Ferrari races the 2003. Therefore IMO Raikonen is having a fantastic season up till now.

-Archwolf-
07-05-2003, 08:03 PM
yep that's true in the beginning of the season ferrari said that the 2003 car would be faster and better than any other car but if you compare the car with other cars you can see that the ferrari isn't that much better

I'll be painting a wall on Sunday, & watching it dry... Or perhaps there's some grass I can watch grow.... :P

Seriously though guys, It aint very exciting anymore is it?
bring back real wheel to wheel stuff (Montoya is the only real risk taker now), I believe they are too highly paid to put life & limb on the line :(

CART was the only interesting formula 'till they all shipped out to IRL.

Let's get the primadonnas out (Irvine's long gone, you're next DC!) & get some real racers into the sport.

I'm sorry if this offends anyone, just my opinion ;)

Well, I think that this year's competition is close although I notice that the circuits aren't up to date anymore. I mean, it is almost impossible to overtake on any circuit without crashing into someone. So I hope the new circuits of Bahrein and China will have a lot of place to overtake.
