tvtorrents help

iv been a member of tvtorrents for nearly a month now, and still i have not manganed to get any credits yet! iv downloaded files from other sites n seeded them but nothing happens on my tvtorrents account, the credits value is still at zero. its seems impossible to get started. Can sum1 jus plz help me in trying to get credits.?

you can just send him the invite to the email he has now and then he talks to a mod and theyll transfer the credits but thats a lot more complicated than just creating a new account

It's good to be given credits but if you can't get things loaded from other sites then it's not going to solve the problem in the future. Being connectable is a big thing on TvT. If your not connectable it seems like it's the worst tracker in the world where your lucky if you'll connect to any peers.

well once you have credits you can download something popular from the site

i usually have no toruble seeding back there (sometimes i might have to leave it for a while longer but in the end i can seed 1:1+

I have found that it is even possible to dl new shows and post them there. I don't remember if there are any rules about when you are allowed to upload but it is a surefire way to start out your ratio. Some show like Corner Gas where taking 4 days or more to appear. easy to grab from public trackers and share. They have good faqs for doing all of it.

Very rarely have I been able to upload new stuff on TvT. Most times new shows are on there before they even air on my tv. Alot of times when they pop up on eztv there on TvT within a few min or so.

TvT doesnt care about multiple accounts anyways (or so ive heard)

You don't need to delete the account (& TVT definitely cares about multiple a/c's ) you just get an invite with gcreds attached sent to your registered mail for tvt, contact an admin and give them the invite code and the gcreds are transferred to your a/c, its in the FAQ on tvt.................you know the FAQ you never read lol :D

Has TVtorrents.com been down? I have not been able to get in it for the last week or more. I hadn't used it in a few months until recently. Has something changed that I don't know about?

I know it had a brief disruption the other day but I've been on there almost everyday in the last week.

It's been broken for me for ages - not been able to get onto their web site for 2-3 weeks now at least, although I can still seed.

Further investigation shows I can access the site if I use Proxify - so their site is up, but I can't get to it. Is my ISP (Pipex) blocking them?

(I can't access them via their IP address either, so it's not my ISP's DNS server blocking them.)

Any ideas?

the site has been up and down daily - it hasn't been down for full days .. Many websites you cannot access via IP directly .. you would need to update your hosts file with the IP.

What is the message you get when you try accessing from your own ISP IP?

They've had alot of server issues lately. There suppose to be buying a new one sometime soon.

u just need to seed a file or two that u didnt get from TvT for a couple of days, then you should be good to go. personally i LOVE TvT i had the same prob at first, but now i got 100GCreds and loving it. great site.

and yes, the sites had trouble with hardware and some DDoS attacks. it should be cleared up soon.
