bad news: yes, your ip is banned
god news: you can change it. my assumption is that you are part of the overwhelming majority of internet users with dynamic ip addresses.
in order to change my (dynamic) ip address, i just leave my cable modem unplugged for a night. unplug every cable just to be safe. after i finish with that 12hr power cycle, i look on whatismyip.com and my ip is changed. my ip address does change every week or so like others do; that is the only way i do it - so if you are in the same boat as me try that.

so yeah, you can get another oink account. i just wouldnt seed all the torrents you downloaded from your previous (banned) account - because they would be suspicious.. obviously.

if you were a staff and you saw a n00b user seeding 50+ torrents without downloading a kilobyte, wouldn't you investigate?

I have an account at oink and I try to seed all my downloads for hours and even days, but it rarely ever actually seeds. Do you ahve to add new music to oink or can I just seed to fit my ratio?

partial seeding.

So i'm only allowed to seed a certain amount?

partial seeding means downloading only parts of the file, so it wont affect too much your ratio, and then just seed those parts. You can (and should) seed as much as possible.

Nice, especially as you are a trader with 19 rep points. I got nothing against traders as I'm one too. Just dont become a moralstic non-trader while your rep points are still showing with comments that you are a great trader. .

Good call

Although it's hypocrisy that's the problem, not the showing rep points ;)

If you knowingly break the rules it's your own fault. Why put someone else's account at risk it's not right.
