Video Editing

i need some video editing software (just for simple things like cutting adverts out of video files) but i don't know of any good (and preferably easy to use) packages and was looking for some suggestions. Thanks.

pinnacle, vegas those are easy to use but if you want something better try adobe premier 6.5 but i think that is a little more difficult to use.
