Doom just.... DOOM anyone that really knows games (or played it when it first came out) and why they deserve respect will understand....DOOM...DOOM II. Ahhhh memories..... coutless hours fragging in multiplayer... how scary it was back then..... Doom III soon :D

Half-Life was the next stage in evolution. Again sooooo many hours spent playing CS/DOD/FA/NS/TFC/etc etc. I wonder what my life would be like if i didn't play it? Probably rich, famous, have lots of hot women following me....

the best FPS with a story is Unreal 2 The Awakening then UT2K3 (if ur computer can handle it) and also Half Life is pretty good. Unreal 2 is my favrotie cuz they know and do use the Unreal Engines to the fullest.

The Medal of Honor games are good....i rented one of them for Xbox. Counter Strike is fun to. Its coming to Xbox, so is Doom III. Halo is a fun game on Gamespy and Halo is also coming out to PC. Halo 2 will be out soon on Xbox and its gonna be a blast.

I&#39;m suprised how many chose halo, sure it was a great game, but it is far from the greatest fps out there, nothing out of the usual at all. Personally i would say goldeneye on the nintendo 64, sure it is out of date and didn&#39;t really bring much new to the fps genre but the game was just so well done. The missions just felt so authentic, and it played out so well i will remember it for years still.

Goldeneye was really good for that time. I remember getting it at a Kmart that was going out of business (40% off&#33;) in Maryland (too much shoplifting).
I would say Halo except for the lack of full online (I have to use XBConnect).
Awww hell my vote is for Halo and Counterstrike.
