I have a question, the rep system is required in all giveaway?

I have sent about 3 invites and just receive 1 rep points.

I haven't sent in too many time for receive the rep, but is only a question.

Points can be given to those you make trades with.

The most rep points doesn't mean anything. I couldn't give away 100 invites and would be perfectly happy with no rep points. I wouldn't do it for the points I'd do it cause I want to help people as I've been helped. It seems like it's more representative of traders then givers of invites.
