When Azureus is started it goes to black screen, why?

I was wanting to try out Azureus, after installing it and running it, it just goes to a black screen windows pointer being the only thing visible. After that I can't do anything and computer needs to be shut down via power button.

The Computer is brand new Core 2 Duo with 2GB Ram and 160GB HD. It has nVidia Geforce 7300 LE graphics card.

are you using vista?
might be a problem between your version of java and the aero theme.
sometimes the old versions of java turn off aero and maybe your computer doesnt like it.
you should just look for latest java and that problem doesnt happen
other than that.. id say reinstall azureus or just use utorrent :P

Thanks for the reply. I'm not using Vista, I have Win XP Home installed. I did a google search and saw that there is some issue regarding Java and azureus and possibly version of Graphic card drivers. I installed the latest Java and still encountered the same issue :frusty: . I may just try out utorrent.
