I've been using emule as my go to place when i don't find what i'm looking for on torrent sites (older files, stuff that would be geared towards specific audiences). ever since their servers went under, i'm wondering if there is another place to look for rare files.

what kind of files are you looking for? if movies, try cinematik. it has a good selection of old and hard-to-find movies. most top-notch private trackers have rare files.. good luck!

It depends on exactly what you mean by rare files. If your looking for ms-dos software or similar "older" files you may find what you want at: www.ChatNFiles.com
We have an indexing project under way. I hope that things will be a lot easier to find by the end of February,
