internet explorer is a built-in component of windows xp. as far as i know it cannot be removed unless you deactivate windows file protection. if it were to be removed, your operating system will likely not function properly.

quick answer, you cant.

long answer, you will be able to soon, with a product called xplite

its currently beta, but you can get the beta of emule, you will also probably be able to get the full version when it comes out

Click Start->Set Program Access And Defaults ->Add/Remove Windows Components
Un-tick internet explorer
Click Next

That should do it.

no, that removes icons

Internet explorer is in EVERY folder you open, if you removed IE, you wouldn't have any folder windows, unless you just overlooked the web bar ontop of everything you open ;)

Yikes. LitePC sounds awesome. I have to remember to get that. I have a Comcrap 700 so it's probably better to wait a bit until it finals.
