This is a re-post.....as I got a reply the first time that said I could cut it in half. I have no idea what that has to do with anything if I have no idea how to do what I am asking in the first place........ so here is the question again for anyone who cares to read and answer. Thank you.

I have a few movies on my hard drive. Most of them seem to be about 700 meg.....but I have a few that are over that size. Maybe about 750 and 900 mb.

First, how would I burn a disc onto a regular cdr using my cdr burner. I dont have a dvd burner. I have read there is software to do this.....so is it true and if so what is the best?

And, if I can do this.....what can I do about the oversize files to burn them?

those that are under 700mb burn onto data cds.. then split the others in half and burn them onto 2 cds.

I was stumped on splitting movies for ages lol but after searching this forum i tried Easy Video Splitter (also downloaded off the great kazaa lite) and it does exactly what it says "splits movies" and is "easy"...
