They aren't my rules, they are a some of rules but together by various staff bodies.

And if you create a new account i will catch you, and i will shame you.

Moral of this giveaway: Tracker staff don't want you to trade at all, they are nice in many ways. They just don't show it, so im doing this on behalf of them. You want invite? You prove your a good member.

For most of you its already too late but nevertheless, it's a life lesson learn't, i unfortunately took the same path as most of you and have learnt my mistake.

I know I am a little behind the qualification curve, but hopefully its enough for J.A. just figured I try and give it a shot to get F**. I know it is one of the hardest trackers to get, but I would love to be a part of their community since it is one of the best esepcially with all the different clubs that they have and I feel I will also be able to eventually contribute back to their site since I am not really lacking resources, but lacking quality trackers plus I would really love to get my hands on their collection of DVD-R that they have and get involved with the DVD Club in their community also. excellent giveaway. def top notch. its very rair to see some of these given away. anyway. i think i qualify. i have some spam posts but not many and they were actually in a quote unquote spam thread. when you check my history you will see them. you will also see that like several others here i did attempt to trade invite a few times (but nothing went through) when i first came here before learning the errors of my ways. if the way started here disqualifies me even though if have learned from my mistakes then so be it (we all make choices and have to face the consequences) just wanted to be upfront about that. anyway. i know its very unlikely that i will recieve it and i know there are plenty of more quilified users and im just a post on a mesage board but i have to at least try. id like f*c. id like this tracker because i heard not only that it has great releases. but also i hear nothing but good things about the community. i hear its more like a family over there than anything else. also has the best and friendliest users and staff of any tracker period. always willing to help people out in need or that have problem. ive been wanting this one for a long time but since im not one to beg (aside from now) and really dont have any real life friends that torrent ive never been able to make it in. hope you pick me. if not good luck to the winner. will be a very lucky person. thankx for listening to me beg and plea. cheers:)

I need to thank for sharing a high level account with me once and giving me an opportunity to at least experience the same. I didnt use it much but only went through, was content with that to start with. And later you know what happened.

Here you are with this nice co-ordinated giveaway. I am just another guy on FST who has gone about business as usual. Piracy of copy write material is to start with not justifiable, further trading of such accounts which promote the above means one is further into this and what else goes on this world....I dont know and not interested.

Keeping to basics, yes everybody wants higher level accounts because of higher speeds, quality of material and then how tough its to get an account there. Just like money..everybody to accumulate more, have more, download more and to survive upload more than download. Essentially there is not a single person here who truly is honest!..cmon we are downloading you know what! I am just everybody else.

Not sure what you mean exactly.
But what I take it as...
Its not to discourage trading or anything.
The idea with us GIVING invites to these people is to let HONEST people who DO NOT TRADE ACCOUNTS get accounts on some of our sites. It encourages people to go about getting accounts on sites the right way basically. If you do it the right way sometimes theres benefits to it.

As far as trading the accounts if you do get 1 off of some of us. I think you would have to be a major mental case to try and trade an account you personally get off a STAFF member from a site... its kinda more obvious cause they probably will check that account more than regular accounts traded by regular users.

I'm now stuying the first year at the best music academy in Finland (Sibelius Academy) and i Have to get alot of knowledge if i want to graduate sometime.

I need the listen alot of original lossless music in all of categories and i don't want to buy the original CDs from store, because i would spent then very much money. Too much for the student. I'm in need of e**** because of my studying. I need to hear quality, not crappy. E**** is the only thing what i need to find classic, rock and everykind of else music in quality format.

I ask for E* invite cause I think there's more electronic and hip-hop music there than at Pedro's. I've never traded accounts, not because of my high moral standards, but because its too risky. I've managed to get most of the invites for free and I hope this is the last time I'm asking a complete stranger for a favor. I keep a good ratio at all the trackers, have decent upload speed etc etc.

i know we dont know each other and we have never talked or dicuss anything, but i hope this wont make your decission. :happy:
Well. the reason why i would love the E****, is that i love Lossless music and use it all the time.
Especially i love older music and would try to share a piece of mine to the community.
I want this tracker since i'm here on FST and never could get one invite to it :(
The next important reason is that i want to visit the community, to make new friends and talk about everything.
The most important thing for me is the community and i heart olny good things about the e**** staff and the users and simply need to be a part of it.
I can promise you that i never would trade the acc or the invites for it and be a good and active member in the forums and torrents.
So this will be maybe my last try to get in this tracker.
I'm a nice and friendly guy who simply want to talk with great ppl and to share everything.

The idea with us GIVING invites to these people is to let HONEST people who DO NOT TRADE ACCOUNTS get accounts on some of our sites. It encourages people to go about getting accounts on sites the right way basically. If you do it the right way sometimes theres benefits to it.
Couldnt have said it better myself. Why are people always so skeptical. Most of the staff here are members of FST. Most enjoy FST as much as you do.

I am not bragging, however I am very qualified to prove that. I am relatively new to the whole torrent world, became member in April at FST, however didnt log in much till recently. A break in education gave me an opportunity to play with 'bit-torrent'. And now I am hooked!
I cannot boast of having great trackers, however ratios show faithful seeding. Some of my posts have not been 'nonsensical' :P

I'd love an invite to F** or E****, i'd be freakin ecstatic if i get in any of em. Both are awesome sites with their good points. I download FLAC's on a regular basis to hear on my main system, and some jazz/classical albums for my dad. He recently bought a pair of Silitech Pantheon speakers cuz he blew the voice coil on one of the woofers of his old Wilson Audio floorstanders. And i think it's partly my fault cuz i burnt this Sheffield Labs Drum Test flac for him to give em a workout but it backfired pretty badly. Getting hold of a few rare cd's for him is the least i can do. :P

So yea, deep down am hopin for E****.....but i guess there will be plenty others in the running so i dunno how good my chances are. But there's a severe dearth of good flac sites so am crossing my fingers....god knows when i get another opportunity.

I only fail on the past trading rule, But if that can be overlooked i would like an invite to the vault

My last and only trade was @ 07-24-07 03:26 AM which was here and is in my rep's. The other 2 are: 1 from a giveaway i did and 1 from someone just randomly giving me rep for absolutely nothing :dabs:

Anyway, Just in case the 1 trade can be overlooked here is my reason for wanting the vault:

I work online doing web design and coding in PHP as a "business" so to say, Which isnt a bad achievement considering i failed pretty much everything in school but maths. Self education rocks.

Anyway, My last attempt at business failed to some degree. Was owning games online (text based) but couldnt afford to keep them online, So had to sell less than they were worth (By alot) so the new owner could take on server payments etc.

Guess in a way thats good practice for business when you sell at a huge loss just to keep the "customers" happy.

That pretty much covers it all, I want to get into business's but dont have enough knowledge on it all to be successful and im guessing The vault would give me alot of help with this, Even if i have to take it out f context and change to work for me :)

Trading has existed in this world from the very beginning. In olden days we had the 'barter system' where you exchange goods of equal value. It is essential human nature to give out what you do not need and then accept what you need, trading is essential for business to prosper and for economy to survive.
I understand 'trading' here is not encouraged since some folks misuse the account and sometimes hack emails/ etc.

Not to discourage trading, but to conduct it in conducive manner and healthy trades will help 'business'. So also encourage giveaways. If sometime kind of screening method: like JA has used-
Member here for minimum of 3 months, more than 200 or 300 posts, etc.

Along with positive rep points, we should start negative points. How practical is this? very, but difficult, then we will need a court of law to justify all the negatives!

Honor, Loyalty and Respect.....is the code i live by in the torrent world and in real life. A few of those trackers that enviouz is 'giving away' i know do not like account/invites to be traded. Why would i give an invite to someone who has not respect or loyalty to a tracker, high or low on your rankings?

Giving away those accounts affects him more than he knows. Say he gives his account to XXXXXX and he turns out to be a seller on a popular auction website. He then sells the account and staff of that respected tracker finds outs. There will be a strong push for a torrent scene wide ban. His IP and details are now one with that of the seller. He wonders why he has been disabled on most trackers.
Now lets say XXXXXX is only a cheater....well reputation travels fast in the BT world (just ask cheaters/traders), so all of enviouz details are linked to a cheater.

Trust me, its better to just let the tracker prune you and open up a slot for another than to giveaway your account.

Im not trying to be a bastard but with all the recent security issues going around in the BT scene (password leaks, MD infiltration) i would rather give it to a deserving, loyal person.

I've been a member for 4 months going on 5 next month.
Never traded or made an account offer.
I have over 250 posts I'd like to think well over 100 are quality.

F** I want to be a member of this site for a few reasons first is the great pre times everyone could use a good site with those. In addition to that they're similar to a one stop shop where you can find alot of what your looking for in 1 location. Finally from talking to a few people I know on another site they give ways to not fail and be a contributing member of the site. If you fail it's your own doing. It's kind of like the theory of being given enough rope to hang yourself well they also give ways how to use it.

The Vault is pretty simple their a niche site that specializes in business that interests me enough said there.

I would like to be a part of E****. I've heard a little bit about it and read a couple of reviews, and it looks like its the lossless music paradise, not to mention a great community of music lovers. I have a diverse musical taste, but I usually listen to Rock, Reggae, Jazz and Classical music. My favorite band of all times is Pink Floyd, and my favorite Pink Floyd records are "The Dark Side of the Moon", "A Saucerful of Secrets" and "Wish You Were Here".

As suggested by Shafter in that thread, I have installed EAC, and started experimenting with it, but have yet to upload any music I ripped to any tracker (too damn afraid to upload anything on Oink, due to their extremely strict uploading rules).

On a personal note, I would just like to note that I try to be a good and constructive member in all the sites I join. Given the choice, I would prefer a tracker with a good community on a content only tracker in a second. If I don't like a site which I join, I usually attempt to delete the account or let it die, rather than give it away to unknown individuals. I don't trade and I don't cheat. First thing I do on trackers I join is read the rules and FAQ, and follow them. I like to share with others what I have, and avoid becoming a burden on the sites I use. If I suspect that I will not be able to seed back a torrent, I will think twice before downloading it. I usually attempt to seed torrents for as long as I can (until my HD bursts and needs cleaning up, that is). This policy had helped me keep good ratios on all trackers I'm in, despite the fact that my internet connection is nothing to rave about. I'm attaching a screenie from Oink, as it's the most relevant tracker I found, although I have better stats at other trackers:

I have mostly been only downloading flac albums from oink and it seems like e**** would fit my needs since it is only allows albums encoded in flac. I have very broad musical tastes and some of the artists that I like aren't available in flac from oink. I believe that since e**** is a flac only tracker, I should be able to find some of those rare artists that I listen to in flac on that tracker. If I don't quality for a e**** invite, I would really like a revolt invite because of the community there. I've heard that it is a small close knit community that helps out theire members and I believe I could be an asset to them.

If you check my history you will see that I only have 4 reps. All 4 reps were not for invite trading or account trading but rather invites that I have given away. Even though 3 of them have the word trader in there, if you look at the threads I started and compare the dates with those reps, you will see that they correspond to when I gave away invites.

With so many requests, a true effort to filter and select the winners is truly difficult. A time consuming process that is.
There are easy ways out..like filter the traders out (if there is truly one here who has never traded ever anywhere...here or else where)
....or select users based on quality posts...(someone would ask: define quality)
....or select users on ratios? (wow..thats again too many good seeders here)
....just select users that JA knows personally as 'good users' .. easy way
....give it to those who have made the best and greatest giveaways (probably is the best way)...those with most unselfish attitude get the prize

Unhappy with my current situation and unwilling to sit around idly while waiting for this thread to end, I will fight till my finger tips are blunt by typing incessantly.
Ahem! Some have even taken concrete action, forming a community and starting a campaign to post tons of messages, which as of today has amassed a total of 186 messages with more than 6000 views !!! (re: JA’s post)

All this is very admirable and shows bittorrent fans are willing to put their time and effort where their convictions lie !!. However this still begs the question: Do fans have a fighting chance in face strong competition from veterans in this field?
The “FST times” has interviewed three veteran users and they are of the view that it is unlikely the new and Noob fans would win. One of them even said: No reasonable chance of winning the case.

That said and done, if inspite of advice and evidence to the contrary one feels that pursuing hopes and aspirations is encouraged and all Noobs like me should continue to put effort and have a chance at winning.

fighting chance? idk i kinda threw that one out the window even before this thread begun. did some things while at the time i thought i was doing a good thing for fellow fst users but after alot of thinking a few cues from other users and recieving SEVERAL irate and nasty pm messages i now realize it wasnt a good thing. infact was a very poor and rotten thing for me to do. although it wasnt trading it was just as bad if not worse. but hey we all make mistakes learn from them and proceed to move on. not that by learning from them makes them any less of a mistake its just a learning process that molds us into the person we shall become in the future. so anyway as for a fighting chance naw. it however has been rather enlightening to take part in this. ive learned a few things about some other members as well as myself. so therefor while not walking away with what i had hoped. ive walked away with something that is even more valuable. another lesson learned that has already begun to change my outlook on a few things for the better and help mold me into a better person. and that in my eyes is more important to me than an invite to a tracker even though its a great one from what ive heard its just not as important to me as what i have walked away with. ill take what i have walked away with over and invite anyday (ANY and EVERYBODY should as well). after all you usually only get one chance to learn from each mistake.and my saying id rather walk away with what i have than an invite (although that would be nice too just isnt gonna happen) is not meant to put down any of these sites as they are all great from what ive heard or disrespect or loyalty. it has to do with self improvement. well anyway sorry for the long rant so to speak. good luck to everyone. just wish everyone could get what they asked for that deserve it. cheers :)

i'm still hangin firm.... i believe i have a chance even tho the odds may be against me... i only requested a invite to revolt... i'm a member of some of the other sites up for grabs already... i have learned 1 thing from being here its not about racing to get the next higher tracker... it doesn't work that way.. once you get dubbed as something it sticks with ya and i don't want that, so now i take it easy.. i used to run for everything i could get. yes, i fell into the wiaw trap(noobs :rolleyes:).. i'm a bit wiser now.. and very selective of what i ask for... i have tried to be an active member here as well as other places... and now for me it's about the community and not quantity or where they rate on that highly volitile wiaw scale... whether i get into revolt now or not... i'm not gonna have any ill feelings about it.. cause i know i'll get there eventualy and then its one more left on my wish list and i'll be happy... but that is another far away day..
