Peer 2 Peer is a term used to talk about computers that are connected to each other, where all peers are considered equal.

On the other hand, FTP uses a system of client/server, where the material is provided by one (FTP server) to many others (FTP clients). Even then, and FTP client can become an FTP server for other clients.
