Hmm... I think it's actually $20 you need to donate and then you can get your x2 invites. I can't really remember because I caught them during a donate and get double upload special... so I paid $20, got 40gbs and 2 invites.

Technically speaking, you're supposed to get invites when you become a donor, and there's an option for $5 donations. I'm still almost certain it's $20 though...

Correct me if I'm wrong... I simply can't remember. :(
